About thirty representatives from public institutions, companies, technology centres and associations related to sustainable mobility and energy met today in Ficoba for the first meeting of the Technical Committee that will provide support in organising the Go Mobility Trade Fair, which will be held on 27 and 28 November at the Gipuzkoa exhibition centre. a.

This first industrial exhibition in Southern Europe of sustainable mobility of the future, dedicated to professionals and companies involved in the field of electro-mobility and energy storage, has already aroused the interest of companies, institutions and centres in the sector, as evidenced by the representatives meeting today for the Technical Committee.

In addition to the County Council of Gipuzkoa, those forming part of the committee include representatives from EVE, the town councils of Donostia and Irun, and the Aquitaine – Basque – Navarre Euroregion Office, as well as the Energy, Mobility and Mobility clusters, ACICAE y AEDIVE. Also, leading companies such as the CAF Group, Irizar e-mobility, Gamesa Electric, Ibil, Ingeteam, Cegasa, Ikusi and Fagor Ederlan are taking part in the committee, as are Cidetec, Vicomtech, Tecnalia, CIC Energigune, Mondragon Unibertsitatea and EV4SCC. The purpose of this Committee will be to advise and endorse the technical contents of the event and to contribute the expertise of the participants in the Sustainable Mobility Sector so that the event is of maximum benefit in bringing together the interests of the different sectors involved. The Technical Committee will meet twice this year, at Ficoba, Gipuzkoa’s Trade Fair Centre, in Irun.

The Go Mobility fair – Basque Sustainable Mobility Industry Exhibition, promoted by the Gipuzkoa Regional Council, forms part of the Gipuzkoa Strategy for Industrial Development in Electrical Mobility and executed in a participatory manner by more than 40 stakeholders, companies, technology centres and institutions related to mobility and energy. This innovative industrial event is expected to attract around 1,500 top-level professionals – managers and purchasing officers, who will have at their disposal, not only the exhibition area where the sector’s latest innovations will be on display, but also a variety of conferences and workshops, a vehicle testing area, matchmaking sessions, and the Go Mobility Awards. In addition, a programme for inviting both national and international buyers will be organised with the objective that 50 buyers of this kind will take part in the exhibition.
